ABOUT THIS WINE
The Morey-Saint-Denis Village comes mainly from vines located a few meters above Clos des Lambrays. When you walk on the path that leads to Clos, the vines are visible a little to the north. Obviously this nuance of situation changes a lot of things. It happens that the frost, as in 2016, reaches the Morey-Saint-Denis Village while the Clos escapes it.
We design this wine as a tribute to the village to which the Domaine belongs.

Despite being enclosed by a centuries-old wall of dried stones, one could spend hours exploring the grounds of the Clos des Lambrays … The Clos des Lambrays is one of the 33 Grands Crus of Bourgogne, located in one of the region’s most precious so-called “Climats”. In between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, the village of Morey-Saint-Denis quietly produces many Grands Crus: Clos des Lambrays, Bonnes-Mares, Clos Saint Denis, Clos de la Roche, Clos de Tart. Among the Côte de Nuits, Morey-Saint-Denis is the village with the largest concentration of vines ranked as Grands Crus.
