2021 Demarie Barolo, Piedmont, Italy

ABOUT THIS WINE

The 2020 Demarie Barolo is sourced from some of the finest vineyards in the heart of the Barolo region. The grapes were hand-harvested in late October, ensuring only the ripest fruit was selected. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks with traditional pump-overs to extract color and tannin, followed by an extended maceration. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 24 months in large Slovenian oak casks, allowing for the development of its rich, complex flavors without overwhelming the delicate nuances of the Nebbiolo grape. The wine was bottled in the spring of 2023 and released in late 2023.
