ABOUT THIS WINE

Made from 100% Ribolla Gialla—Friuli’s most traditional and tannic white variety—this wine is sourced from Radikon’s estate vineyards in Oslavia, grown on ponca (marl and sandstone) soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, followed by a 2–3 month maceration on the skins in wooden vats. The wine is then aged in large Slavonian oak casks for around 3 years, and bottled without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.

The 2020 vintage shows the signature power and grip of Ribolla Gialla, with aromas of citrus peel, dried stone fruit, wildflower honey, and spice. The palate is dense and tactile, with a tea-like astringency, saline edge, and persistent, mouthcoating finish.
