Dalia Pinot Grigio hails from Northern Italy in the Veneto region where the protective shadows of the Dolomite mountains create the ideal environment for Pinot Grigio to thrive. Sources for the wine are scattered over the foothills and hilly areas of the upper Val d’Alpone in the Veneto region.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
Lia has held an integral role in the North American wine industry for more than 20 years. She launched her career in 1997 when she opened a retail wine store in Winnipeg with her sister, Tina Jones. In 2004, Lia founded a national wine importing company with her father Pier Luigi Tolaini, Banville Wine Merchants, based in Manhattan, New York. Today Banville is a top national importer of 40 wineries from Italy, France, Germany, and England with a wholesale division distributing over 750 wines in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Oregon. Lia launched a Canadian division of Banville Wine Merchants in Ontario and Manitoba in 2020.
