2023 Radikon “Sivi” Pinot Grigio, Friuli IGT, Italy
ABOUT THIS WINE
Made from 100% Pinot Grigio—sivi means “grey” in Slovenian—this wine is sourced from biodynamically farmed vines on the slopes of Oslavia in Friuli, near the Slovenian border. The pink-skinned grapes are fermented on their skins for about 7–14 days with native yeasts, then aged in large Slavonian oak casks before bottling without fining, filtration, or added sulfur.
Unlike typical Pinot Grigio, Sivi shows a copper-amber hue in the glass and delivers a complex mix of stone fruit, dried citrus, earthy spice, and gentle tannins. The 2023 vintage continues Radikon’s signature balance of structure and lift, offering both freshness and grip.
