2024 Emrich-Schönleber Riesling “Niederberg” 1G, Nahe, Germany

ABOUT THE WINE

Sourced from the Niederberg vineyard, a top Erste Lage (1G) site within the Frühlingsplätzchen, this wine reflects the steep, red slate soils and cool microclimate of the upper Nahe. The 2024 vintage was marked by a long, balanced growing season with excellent conditions for achieving ripeness while retaining acidity.

Hand-harvested Riesling grapes are gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel to preserve clarity and site transparency. The wine is fermented dry and aged on fine lees for several months to build texture and depth.
