Françoise is collaborated with female friends of hers in the wine business to make this wine. Her sourcing comes from a classic producer that has had 3 generations of female winemakers. Aged 8-12 months in large neutral foudre and then 8-10 months concrete. She never uses new oak.

70% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, 10% Mourvèdre

Françoise Roumieux is the 5th generation of winemakers at the prestigious Mayard family estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With the 2016 vintage Françoise has expanded the family’s efforts with a small negociant project for the Côtes du Rhône and with the 2019 vintage, the inclusion of "Le Hurlevent" Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The family puts a strong emphasis on sustainable and organic farming practices and sources from farmers with the same respect. President of Femmes Vignes Rhône, an organization that shines a light on the women working in the Rhône valley wine industry, Françoise sources through these partners whenever possible.
