On its 5th release, select vineyards from across the Santa Cruz Mountains were sourced for the wine. This collage of sites depicts an entire view of the Santa Cruz Mountains as a single AVA-from its mountainous, thin, rugged soils at high elevations to its sloping benches with thicker, richer soils.
Rouge also marries multiple vintages as another tool in the art of blending, which delivers a more approachable wine earlier in its life, resulting in a wine that’s both complex and delicious.
