NV Ployez-Jacquemart "Extra Quality Brut" Champagne, France
ABOUT THIS WINE
The Extra-Quality Brut is a blend of 1er & Grand Crus vines with a majority of Pinot Noir and Meunier from Mailly and Ludes, as well as Chardonnays from Bisseuil, Cuis, Ludes, Puisieulx, Taissy, Grauve or Vertus. The black grapes bring a great richness, complexity and roundness to the Champagne. Only the pure cuvée (fi rst press) is used for the elaboration of this wine and the low sugar dosage also allows all the aromas to be fully expressed. It can be enjoyed after a minimum of 4 years of ageing in the Domaine’s cellars.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
Ployez-Jacquemart is a historic, family-run Champagne House founded in Ludes, France, in 1930 by Marcel Ployez and Yvonne Jacquemart, known for its artisanal approach, Premier Cru vineyards, and strong focus on quality and tradition, carried on by their granddaughter Laurence Ployez, now the Cellar Master, even after the Prieux Group acquired it in 2004. The legacy blends Marcel's artistic vision (designing the logo) with Yvonne's winemaking drive, evolving through generations to maintain a commitment to complex, elegant Champagnes that express their terroir.
