On the nose, it delivers lifted aromas of lemon blossom, green apple, and almond cream. The palate is finely etched and textured, showcasing yellow plum, white peach, and subtle chalk—classic signatures of the Côte des Blancs terroir. The dosage is carefully restrained, allowing the terroir and minerality to shine through.
Aged sur latte for 3 years before disgorgement, Carte d'Or offers both freshness and layered complexity, making it a versatile partner to oysters, grilled scallops, or aged cheeses like Comté.

Stéphane Coquillette represents the fourth generation of his family to make Champagne, but since 2002, he has forged his own identity with an independent, terroir-driven approach. Working in Chouilly and surrounding Premier Cru villages, Coquillette farms sustainably, with minimal chemical intervention, favoring low yields and meticulous vineyard care.
In the cellar, his philosophy is one of restraint and transparency—no oak, minimal intervention, and a focus on purity. His Champagnes are known for their expressive fruit, tension, and elegant textures.
