The G of Château Guiraud is the Dry White produced from the vines of the Premier Grand Cru, also certified BIO AB.

The G of Château Guiraud is 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Sémillon aged for 7 months in oak.

Harvested like a Sauternes, manually by successive sorting, and matured by the Chateau’s team in barrels that have been used for the maturing of the Sweet Grand Vin, this balanced blend of Sauvignon and Semillon offers a singular expression of the Sauternes terroir, in its “dry” version.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

Located in Sauternes, on one of the greatest white wine terroirs in France, Chateau Guiraud's history can be traced back to 1766 from the Guiraud Family. The property was named Premier Grand Cru Classé in 1855 in the classification ordered by Napoleon III. The 85 hectares have now converted to organic farming, planted to 65% Semillon and 35% Sauvignon Blanc. The property is well-known for their natural approach to viticulture. Including construction of insect hotels, developing genetic diversity, studying and propagating vines in a conservatory.
